I’ve always been an A student. That is… until I hit calculus in high school. You know, I had to let that go.
But still, I’m a high achiever. Detail obsessed. And absolutely the kind of person who likes to give the gold star to myself. That’s just how I’m built.
Lately, I’ve been chasing the C. Not because I’ve given up. But because I’ve learned something wildly important in business:
The goal isn’t to ace the test. It’s to show up and commit to learning.
C is for consistency.
C is for creating while the engine’s still messy.
C is for clarity, earned through action, not just planning.
Last year, I tried to grow my business via a webinar. I had the strategy (which I paid for) and the desire. But that plan never saw the light of day.
I got caught up in doing it perfectly and collapsed under the weight of client work, speaking, travel, and life. The webinar got buried. And honestly? So did I for a while.
This year, I did it differently. I skipped the funnel. And I just went live.
I started on Valentine’s Day, of all days, teaching business leaders how to set up ChatGPT and turn their expertise into GPT-powered products.
Because I didn’t wait to be ready, people engaged. They asked for the replays, the consults, and the deeper help. But a lot of folks missed it. Some didn’t even know it was happening.
So as I prep for round two, I’m making a few shifts to help you find your way in.
First, I'm putting events out ahead of time.
You can now see what’s coming and plan ahead using the calendar. Even if I don’t have all the details yet, the dates will be there, so you can hold space.
Second, I’ve learned that leaders need space to think and implement, not just more tools.
I created a product that helps folks build five AI assistants for their business. It’s a solid tool, and people bought it. But most didn’t finish. Not because they didn’t want to, but because life is full, and big leaps take real bandwidth.
The session that resonated most was when we focused on just one GPT, specific to your business, grounded in brand clarity. One step forward, not five.
So moving forward, I'll focus on bite-sized wins > big leaps.
I’m exploring Build With Me Labs—structured, interactive sessions where strategy meets action in real-time. But before I lock anything in, I want to make sure it’s worth your time.
It’ll take you two minutes. Just click a few boxes and tell me what topics would move the needle for you right now.
I’ll keep showing up and making it easier to connect with me. From calendar to consults and everything in between.
Eventually, the website and all the other things will get a proper glow-up. But I’m not waiting on polish to do the work. And neither should you.
Hope to see you live.
